About Perle Glacée

Perle Glacée is an independent site about compact pods, the small vapes that fit in a pocket. We look at them as objects in the hand rather than through the specification sheet.

What we cover

Four shelves organise the site. Pen pods, the slimmest and lightest of the range. Cartridge pods, with swappable or refillable cartridges, their formats and what fits what. Adjustable pods, which keep a few settings without growing in size. And pod care, because a compact pod that is cleaned and charged properly lasts longer.

Who writes it

Zoé Castaing writes the features on Perle Glacée. Her ground is the device in hand, a pod that fits a jacket pocket, charges on the corner of a desk and gets rinsed over a basin. Every article is checked before it goes live.

A tool to compare for yourself

The pocket comparator on the home page works out the volume of two pods from their dimensions and names the more discreet one, so you can run the numbers on your own devices instead of taking our word for it.

UK readers

Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Vaping products sold here follow the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap tank and pod capacity at 2 ml and e-liquid strength at 20 mg/ml, so figures quoted for other markets may not match what is on sale in the UK.

Our independence

Perle Glacée takes no payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage. Affiliate links may exist and never shape what we write, and sponsored content, when there is any, is labelled as such. Vaping products are for adults only.
